Our Story
STAC Consulting (NSW) Pty Ltd (STACC) was established in 2022 by Directors Aaron Redfern and Tom Johnston.
Between Aaron and Tom, STACC delivers 28 years of experience in the Building Regulations industry. In addition, both Aaron and Tom have outstanding prior experience working in the Local Government and Private Certification sectors, including acting in the role of Principal Certifier.

Given the conflict of interest provisions that are now applicable to Principal Certifiers, and the heightened scrutiny on the construction industry as a whole, it has never been more important to obtain comprehensive and independent advice relating to building code compliance. STACC was established to provide this advice to all project stakeholders for all types of projects.
We are located in Alexandria on the outskirts of the Sydney CBD and we service Greater Sydney and regional NSW.

What we do
STACC is a unique multi-discipline building code consultancy firm, specialising in BCA Consulting, Access Consulting, and preparation of Performance Solutions. This unique offering allows our clients to engage us for more than one expert discipline, all commonly required on construction projects throughout New South Wales. Our in-house consultants work collaboratively to ensure a seamless and cohesive service is provided to our clients. We can provide these services for all types of projects, from large complex new buildings to small-scale refurbishments, fit-outs and use changes.
We can provide valuable input at all design stages, during construction and at handover/completion. With STACC's extensive knowledge and experience in the New South Wales Building Regulations industry, we can assist you in meeting your project's requirements and objectives.
